I laugh because since childhood I have had some interesting nicknames:
Stone ( when born, my sister was told she could help name me, she was in love with stone phillips so there you go)
Aldy (short for Alden)
Aldo (short for Alden)
Waldo (i was good at hiding, and it’s close to Aldo)
Balden Alden (i had gum stuck in my dutchboy haircut, and had a spot where there was no hair for a while)
Hawkeye (every male family member has been called this)
HAWK (my last name is Hawkins)
Bruce (Like the shark in jaws, large, intimidating, completely harmless)
Rick von Sloneker (when I was drunk in 2007-2010 I would introduce myself as Rick von Sloneker, a character featured in my favorite movie, Metropolitan)
Bruce von Sloneker (My tobogganing nickname)
Duckfart (my favorite shot, called by a bartender at the Shanty in Edgartown MA)
Kevin (again by my sister because we love home alone)
HarryPotter/HP (because I hit my head and had a gash on my forehead 2 years ago and combined with my round bankers glasses she couldnt resist)
Alder/Elderberry/Alderberry (After a summer of knowing my name, and elderly coworker created these gems)
I also found earlier today a trophy which Im going to blame my disinterest in baseball on: ALDON HARKEN is the name on the trophy present to me the first year I ever played when we won at the end of the season. MY NAME IS ALDEN HAWKINS you foolish stick swinging fools.
